Right now millions of believers are leaving the organized church, without abandoning their faith. Join Richard Jacobson, author of Unchurching: Christianity Without Churchianity, and his good friend, Gunnar Falk, as they discuss real life experiences in genuine spiritual community, outside the box.
Super! I love what you are doing Renee. Surely a very healthy meet up, a safe place where none's and done's have been able to find their voice, to express themselves, and friendship to boot.
The personal thoughts that I was arrested on as I listened, for the purpose of my own going forth in my community, are:
1. Relaxing about taking time to just 'being a friend (or forming friendship - the give and take), rather than being overly concerned about bringing the 'ones' from 'here' to 'there'(pure love rather than agenda focus)
2. Considering the usefulness of 'broad questions'.
3. Something Gunner alluded to - the healing in just being together, with no pressure to be.
4. I also can see how very important it is that any individual / group can relax in knowing that their is no hidden agenda in our moving toward them.
Thanks Renee, Richard, and Gunnar. A pleasant listen which gave me over to sound reflections.
