I think Keith presents a narrow view of the stewardship God has given us as Christians. As stewards, we have a responsibility to influence policy that may increase human flourishing. To take relinquish this responsibility as if it makes no difference is unwise. Our country has been a light set on a hill due to its Judaeo-Christian worldview. For the sake of our children, we must seize every opportunity to shape the course of the future. We must be involved in policy making as part of our God given stewardship.

Such a sad understanding of the kingdom and the power of the Judaeo-Christian worldview to cause human flourishing. The United States has promoted Judaeo-Christian values that has changed the world. Keith is obviously a fundamentalist.

I absolutely love this book. I have been devouring it. Keith's way of writing is clear and to the point. The Lord transformed me a little through this book. I had no idea how much I was living in friendship with the world and allowing its influence to keep me in fear. I'm so grateful for the Lord leading Keith to put pen to ink and express this truth to us.

I appreciate where Keith is coming from. I don't agree with much of his premises. I don't like the parallels of early believers of the Roman era with American Christians and our Constitutional government. I don't view modern Christendom as being wholly obedient or monolithic in any way. I believe in remnant Christianity and the model of Ekklesia you promote. I think the founding fathers and the people they represented were obviously Christ centered in their private lives according to their understanding. The framers concept was not one of a church state coalition thankfully. They were relying on God's guidance and their own understanding of the nature of man. We are a post modern people now and have a reprieve from the ravages that secular progressive humanists would inflict on our nation. Preaching disengagement is dangerous and has real world implications. This Supreme Court nomination screams it. It may be putting our finger in the dyke but what is the alternative. Unfettered abortion, Socialist policies leading to the promotion of more moral deviancy. This is not hypothetical, we have the tools to improve lives and restrain evil, whether through sound fiscal policy or any number of things. I think we will be accountable for the way we use the unrighteous mammon for the greater good.
