Will be listening to these posts as they come to my e-mail. Did get one that I was to hit the subscribe link, but it didn't work. Maybe send me another one and see if it will work. Not sure if the problem is on my end or yours. Loved the book. Kim

Jons comments are spot on. Many Christians feel that they can not experience Jesus in this way (present via the Holy Spirit through the body) but we have been meeting for five years, honoring and developing the believing priesthood, and experiencing the resurrected Christ in a vibrant free way.

It is so astounding about the way Christ chose to describe His Body. Since I learned so very much about human body function, I see how His Body is supposed to function, and it is just like the human body: the liver and pancreas are always interacting. The brain (head/Head) is in constant communication with all of that body. When the body hurts, the whole body hurts...itching anywhere is a command to the fingers, etc., etc., it is so precise. And when one part of our human body is served by the immune system to heal it, the entire internal organ system is blessed. ¶ Oh man...soo profound. We in His Body are literally Body Parts. Just amazing!! I don't have a group for meeting, but I am still a definite part of His Body.

Jon said such a profound statements at 4:27 through 5:50...about Acts 9 and what Colossians 1:24 says...truly a jaw dropper about Jesus still living on earth, through us. None of that ever before penetrated me! He is literally living on earth! WOWZER!!

This has made me realise that even though we know we are part of the body we do not understand the importance of who and what we are.

This is important and something i have taught for years. Being bought up evangelical i saw the individual gospel divorcing itself from the corporate. Unchurching is a bad metaphor since we are talking mostly of undenominationalizing.
